Overview
Oxide Blackmarket is an immersive underground dealer system built for serious roleplay servers. A single roaming dealer operates server-wide at any given time, offering tier-locked contraband to players who earn their trust through reputation.
Every decision matters. Players can trade, police can arrest, and violence has consequences. The dealer relocates, fights back, and remembers how you treat them.
This system is designed to create organic conflict, investigation, and progression without relying on static NPCs or predictable locations.

Roaming Dealer
- Single Dealer System — Only one dealer exists server-wide at any time
- Randomized Locations — Spawns at configurable locations across the map
- Automatic Relocation — Moves every 45 minutes (fully configurable)
- Wandering AI — Roams when idle and faces players during interactions

Reputation System
Progress through reputation tiers by selling contraband and building trust. Each tier unlocks new inventory.

- Tier 1 — Street (100 Rep): Pistol Ammo, Coke Baggies
- Tier 2 — Connected (300 Rep): Burner Pager, Pistols, Thermite
- Tier 3 — Trusted (600 Rep): SMGs, Shotguns, Body Armor
- Tier 4 — Inner Circle (1000 Rep): Assault Rifles, Heavy Armor, Drills
Police Mechanics
A fully integrated arrest system gives law enforcement meaningful interaction with the black market.
- Automatic Dispatch Alerts — Officers within 150m trigger alerts
- Surrender System — Aim to force the dealer to put their hands up
- Arrest Window — 10 seconds to cuff before resistance begins
- Escape Chance — 35% chance the dealer flees if pressure drops
- Rewards — $5,000 cash plus $2,500 to police society funds
Hit Squad Retaliation
Violence has consequences.
- 4-Man Hit Squad — Armed NPCs dispatched to hunt attackers
- Dynamic AI — Vehicle pursuit, drive-bys, or on-foot combat
- Difficulty Scaling — Easy (pistols) to Hard (assault rifles)
- Escape Mechanic — Break pursuit by reaching 500m distance
Loot Drop System
- Cash Drops — $500 to $2,500 on death
- Item Drops — 30% of remaining stock (up to 5 item types)

Blip Discovery
- Proximity-Based Discovery — Temporary blips when within 200m

Pager System
- Burner Pager Item — Available starting at Tier 2
- Success Rates — 40% (T2), 70% (T3), 100% (T4)
- Intel Scaling — Area hints at lower tiers, exact coordinates at Tier 4
